Thanks (for nothing) Obama!

Another week, another ‘outraged’ Obama, another North Korean nuke test, another UN ‘condemnation’.  Wow.  You tell ‘em, Obama!  I think you’re winning this one—  oh, yes, I’m sure of it.  And you are SO HOT when you talk with that real ‘angry’ voice.  You should add a bit of reverb, y’know?  Like that speech at the National Archives that you stuck in before the one Cheney had planned for weeks.  I know it didn’t quite work out– who would’ve thought that guy could think?  But this is against the Koreans– it will go better.  Really.

What a joke.

People are so angry about Iraq after eight years of the NYT ’straw man’ arguments that they have forgotten what our foreign policy used to be like.  No problem– Obama brought it back in record time.  We really should call him ‘Flash’, he is so fast at running up deficits, ruining our credibility, encouraging rogue dictators…  He has given our enemies a description of how they will be treated, should they ever surrender out of the kindness of their hearts;  he made it clear that we won’t ever DO anything unless the French come along (and if they didn’t come along during WWII when nazis sat in their restaurants, do you think they will ever come along to help US out?);  he apologized to everyone in site like a newly recovering crack addict who missed the ‘faith’ and ‘personal inventory’ parts and jumped straight to ‘making amends’.

Under Clinton we had bushels of UN condemnations, remember?  Iraq kicked out weapons inspectors over and over, remember?  And while Clinton was out ‘building a consensus’– for 8 years–  our nation was attacked at the USS Cole, the WTC I, and for years plans were being made for WTC II.  THAT is what ‘consensus building’ did for us.  Not to mention that in the end we discovered that those French folks that Clinton was seeking ‘consensus’ from– who for some reason seemed to get in the way of everything we wanted to do– turned out to be buying oil from Iraq on the sly, paying for Sadam’s palaces and rape rooms.

Now Obama is apologizing to the French again, and asking for their help.

What a joke our ‘word’ has become, and so quickly.  Thanks (for nothing), Obama.
